Hill Repeats

Today the training plan called for 4 miles with 6 x 45 second hills.

Ugg. Hills on the treadmill. I always worry that I will fall off.

  • 6 X 45 sec @ 10:00 min/mile & 6.0% incline
  • 6 x 1 min recovery @ 15:00 min/mile

It felt like I was on the treadmill forever this morning. I wondered at one point if the readout was defective.

First Snow Run

Today it was Ella’s turn to be sick and stay home from church. When Mark got home and after everyone was down for a nap I laced up my trainers and was out the door. Oh, and it was 28 degrees outside and snowing little hard ice pellets. It was an awesome run 1) because it was outside and 2) it felt great even though my legs and butt were frozen! Add to Christmas list some warm running pants. My capris and knee high compression socks were not doing the job.

Yes, my eyelashes are frozen…
